Job Description

Chuy's is a well-established restaurant chain founded in 1982 in Austin, Texas, specializing in made-from-scratch Tex-Mex cuisine. Known for its vibrant and eclectic atmosphere, Chuy's offers guests a unique dining experience characterized by colorful decor, personality-filled touches such as hand-carved wooden fish "swimming" from the ceiling, and vintage hubcaps hanging shiny above each booth. The company prides itself on a strong culture that is diverse, fun-loving, and engaging, aimed at creating an enjoyable environment not only for guests but also for team members. Chuy's commitment to fresh food and superior guest satisfaction has helped it earn a loyal following and a respected reputation in the restaurant industry.

Chuy's is currently hiring experienced Restaurant Managers who are hands-on, hardworking, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of operational excellence. This role involves overseeing effective restaurant operations, ensuring the quality of food and customer service, and fostering a positive work atmosphere. Restaurant Managers at Chuy's are leaders who actively engage with their teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences that reflect the brand's commitment to fresh, never frozen food and superior service. This position offers a competitive salary that varies by location, making it flexible to the cost of living and market standards in different regions.

The Restaurant Manager position at Chuy’s is more than just managing daily activities; it involves cultivating an environment where team members are supported and development opportunities abound. Chuy's promotes from within, emphasizing leadership and career growth to help managers advance in their professional journeys. The role requires a strong sense of urgency, the ability to handle fast-paced, high-volume restaurant operations, and expertise in food safety and sanitation standards.

In addition to managing day-to-day restaurant functions, the Restaurant Manager is responsible for training and developing team members to ensure each person meets the company’s standards of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. The role demands a results-driven, team-oriented approach and a passion for maintaining Chuy's unique brand atmosphere.

This role provides outstanding benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid vacation, employee assistance programs, exclusive employee discount programs, parental leave, and a 401(k) plan with employer match, all subject to eligibility. The company also fosters a casual work environment where employees feel comfortable and valued.

If you are a motivated, experienced restaurant manager looking for a rewarding role in an exciting and dynamic company with a rich heritage and commitment to employee growth, Chuy's invites you to apply and have some fun on their time!
