The Restaurant Manager role at KPOT represents a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front-of-house operations at its bustling restaurant locations. This full-time, exempt position requires managing a diverse team in a fast-paced and high-energy environment. The Restaurant Manager plays an essential role in sustaining the brand's reputation for exceptional hospitality, ensuring seamless day-to-day functioning, and driving operational success. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Franchise Partner, the manager will invest approximately 50 to 65 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, to lead efforts in scheduling labor, managing inventory, and maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The successful candidate will conduct pre-shift meetings that focus on excellent service delivery, upselling, and adherence to brand standards. They will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization on the floor while monitoring guest flow, table turns, and wait times to optimize customer satisfaction.
Additionally, the Restaurant Manager will recruit, train, and develop hourly employees, providing ongoing coaching and accountability to uphold high performance standards. They will spearhead local marketing initiatives and drive sales growth by ensuring expert knowledge of brand standards, recipe adherence, and plate presentation. A deep commitment to health code compliance, food handling, and sanitation is mandatory. The role involves close coordination with the Franchise Partner through clear, consistent communication about daily operations, service quality, and overall performance metrics. Job Requirements
- 5+ years leading full-service restaurant operations and bartending
- Holds a valid State-Mandated Food Handlers Certification
- Proficient in POS systems and scheduling software (specifically 7Shifts)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working around grills and hot cooking surfaces
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications

- Solid experience with P&L management, understanding the relationship between sales, labor, and operational costs
- Strong communication and a passion for delivering world-class service at every touchpoint
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working around grills and hot cooking surfaces
Job Duties
- Oversee front-of-house operations by managing labor via scheduling, bar inventory, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Conduct pre-shift meetings focused on service, upselling, and brand standards
- Ensure seamless execution of KPOT service model
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Monitor wait times, table turns, and guest flow
- Recruit, train, and develop hourly team members
- Coach and hold staff accountable to performance standards
- Drive sales growth and local marketing initiatives
- Maintain expert knowledge of brand standards, plate presentation, recipe adherence, and overall operational procedures
- Oversee floor operations, shift management, labor cuts, and engage with customers to ensure exceptional service
- Ensure compliance with all health department regulations
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with the Franchise Partner regarding daily operations, service standards, and performance
