The Restaurant Manager role at Hooters of Palm Bay is critical in ensuring that the restaurant operates efficiently and successfully meets both business and customer satisfaction goals. This position entails managing key operational areas such as hospitality, guest satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, and the overall atmosphere, alongside dedicated teams focused on Front of House and Back of House operations. The Restaurant Manager supports the General Manager in various tasks, including hiring, training, performance management, payroll, human resources, marketing, and financial reporting, all aimed at promoting the brand and driving sales and profitability.

As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of food and beverage quality and ensuring that the guest experience is nothing short of exceptional. This includes supervising proper alcohol service, sanitation, and facility maintenance, as well as managing vendor relationships to meet the business's needs. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of full service restaurant management experience
  • Food safety and sanitation training completion
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid ServSafe alcohol certification before starting work
  • Compliance with all legally required certifications prior to employment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of full service restaurant management experience in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Successfully completed food safety and sanitation training
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • General knowledge of full service restaurant operations and hospitality industry
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Strong operational skills in a customer-service and hospitality environment
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Intermediate mathematical computation skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to manage changing priorities

Job Duties

  • Manage various areas of responsibility within the operation including hospitality, guest satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, drink presentation, and atmosphere
  • Assist the General Manager to ensure efficient restaurant operations and adherence to company policies and standards
  • Ensure timely compensation and quality service from vendors and suppliers
  • Aid in the selection and recruitment of Front of House and Back of House employees
  • Support the training, development, and performance management of restaurant employees, focusing on Front of House staff
  • Assist with general business administration tasks including payroll, human resources, marketing, and financial reporting
  • Promote the business by building sales, increasing profits, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining brand integrity
