Jack in the Box is a well-established fast-food restaurant chain known for its innovative menu offerings and commitment to quality service. With a presence across various locations, Jack in the Box combines a strong brand identity with a franchise-based ownership model. The company prioritizes creating a positive work environment and delivering excellent customer experiences, making it a trusted name in the quick-service restaurant industry. The specific location for this opportunity is the Jack in the Box restaurant at 1260 S Seguin Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130, which is operated by an independent franchisee. This means employment and management decisions are handled locally by the franchise owner, ensuring personalized oversight and a keen focus on community engagement.
The role of Restaurant Manager at this Jack in the Box unit involves overseeing the overall operations of the restaurant with a strong focus on leadership and business acumen. The manager will be responsible for driving the successful execution of the Service Profit Chain and upholding the Brand Promise to customers and employees alike. This entails recruiting, training, and developing staff to create a motivated and efficient team that delivers excellent internal and external service. The manager ensures that the restaurant operates smoothly, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. They must monitor staffing levels, ensure compliance with labor laws, and manage performance to foster a positive work culture that supports the brand's core values.
In addition to team development, the Restaurant Manager is tasked with managing the financial performance of the unit. This includes analyzing operational and financial reports, identifying trends, implementing improvement plans, and working with corporate support resources when needed. The manager must drive sales growth and profitability while controlling costs and adhering to budgets. The role requires strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage ambiguity, and a commitment to ethical business practices.
Candidates must possess demonstrated leadership capabilities, excel in customer service, and be adept at problem-solving and handling conflict. They should be passionate about providing a high-quality guest experience and able to maintain a calm and professional demeanor during high-pressure situations. The Restaurant Manager serves as a role model for the team, inspiring motivation and fostering a respectful and inclusive culture. This position requires flexibility, initiative, and the willingness to engage with all aspects of restaurant management from operations to staff development and guest relations.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking to advance their career in restaurant management within a reputable brand. The position requires experience in fast-paced service environments and a commitment to operational excellence. Jack in the Box offers a dynamic setting where managers can develop their skills, contribute to business success, and make a meaningful impact on the guest and employee experience. Working at this location not only involves managing day-to-day restaurant operations but also being an integral part of a larger community-focused franchise that values integrity, respect, and continuous improvement.
