The Restaurant Manager position at Hooters' Abilene location offers an exciting leadership opportunity within this dynamic environment. This role involves managing various critical aspects of restaurant operations, including hospitality, guest satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, drink presentation, and maintaining an engaging atmosphere. The manager supports and works alongside the General Manager to ensure efficient daily operations aligning with company policies and high standards. The position includes responsibilities like vendor and supplier management to ensure business needs are met timely and accurately compensated. Furthermore, the manager plays a key role in talent acquisition, helping in selecting both front of house and back of house staff, while championing employee training and development.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
  • ability to manage confidential information
  • strong organizational and planning skills
  • proficiency in basic Microsoft Word and Excel
  • ability to handle changing priorities
  • intermediate math skills
  • ability to build relationships at all levels

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • two or more years of full service restaurant management experience
  • completed food safety and sanitation training
  • valid ServSafe alcohol certification
  • successful experience in performance management
  • strong leadership and coaching skills
  • knowledge of restaurant operations and hospitality industry
