The role of Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's is pivotal to maintaining the daily operations and upholding the company’s high standards of service and culture. The Restaurant Manager works closely with the Restaurant Leader to oversee all zones within the restaurant during shifts, acting as the manager on duty to open and close the establishment, manage cash handling procedures, and ensure accountability. This management position encompasses a physically demanding work environment, including extended periods of walking, standing, lifting, and bending in a fast-paced kitchen and restaurant setting. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
- detail-oriented and organized
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- self-driven and flexible
- able to work independently and collaboratively
- knowledge of staffing, scheduling and cost management
- proficient in Microsoft Office
- able to complete Raising Cane’s training programs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
- able to work effectively independently and collaboratively
- able to recognize problems, set goals, execute and convert plans into action
- knowledge and skills in staffing, scheduling, people and cost management
- proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with ability to adapt to new systems quickly
- able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
- must complete all required Raising Cane’s company training programs
- must be 18 years of age or older
Job Duties
- Ensure operations meet Raising Cane’s standards in all restaurant zones during a shift
- act as manager on duty and open and close the restaurant
- manage cash handling and ensure accountability
- enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards
- execute shift management meeting Raising Cane’s operations and safety standards
- use required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
- direct crewmembers during a shift
- provide exemplary customer service
- utilize reward and recognition program for crewmembers
- authorize employee functions requiring manager approval
- ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and proper maintenance of the facility
- complete other assigned duties
