Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior leadership experience required
- Minimum of 2 years in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach with hands
- Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
- Ability to access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock area, and register area
- Compliance with state-mandated age requirements for alcohol service where applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a leadership role
- Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
- College or culinary schooling preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA and health and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills

Job Duties
- Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
- Assigning and directing work
- Appraising performance
- Rewarding and disciplining employees
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Coaching and mentoring team members to ensure employee success and guest satisfaction
- Modeling professional behavior while creating a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
- Assisting with category job duties as needed
- Building store sales through execution of corporate and local marketing programs
- Championing sales building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Meeting and greeting guests, investigating and resolving food quality/service issues
- Maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- Ensuring OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies are met
- Enforcing safe work behaviors
- Monitoring daily activities for quality food and cleanliness standards
- Controlling day-to-day operations including cash control/security procedures, reviewing reports and schedules
- Controlling food costs through recipes, portion control, and inventory management
- Controlling labor costs via monitoring schedules and sales performance
- Performing all other duties as assigned
