Job Duties
- Hires and trains restaurant staff
- organizes and oversees staff schedules
- conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations
- handles discipline and termination of employees according to policy
- oversees food preparation ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- ensures customer satisfaction with restaurant and dining experience
- handles customer complaints diplomatically
- ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations
- estimates food and beverage costs
- manages inventory and purchases food and supplies
- conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment for compliance
- evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and schedules maintenance
- collaborates with chefs to develop menus
- maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts
- prepares and submits operations reports
- performs other assigned duties
