Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior leadership experience required
Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
College or culinary schooling preferred
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
Strong communication skills
Ability to handle physical demands of standing and walking for long periods
Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
Ability to use hands to handle objects and tools
Ability to bend, stoop, and perform sensory activities such as tasting and smelling
Legal age requirements for alcohol service where applicable

Job Qualifications

Prior experience in a leadership role
Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
College or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the companys policies and applicable laws
Recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
Assigning and directing work
Appraising performance
Rewarding and disciplining employees
Addressing complaints and resolving problems
Coaching and mentoring team members to ensure employees success on the job and guest satisfaction
Modeling professional behavior while creating a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
Assisting team members with category job duties as needed
Assisting with building store sales through execution of corporate and local marketing programs
Championing sales building activities and suggestive selling
Maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
Meeting and greeting guests
Investigating and resolving food quality and service issues
Maintaining efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
Ensuring OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company policies are met
Enforcing safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment for guests and crew
Monitoring daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
Controlling day-to-day operations including cash control and security procedures
Reviewing financial reports and schedules
Controlling food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
Controlling labor costs by monitoring daily schedules and sales performance
Performing all other duties as assigned
