Job Requirements

Minimum two years of post-high school education
Two plus years of full employment in a related position
Preferred hotel experience
Knowledge of restaurant and hotel practices
Strong management and communication skills
Ability to analyze information and make decisions
Familiarity with hotel operations and planning
Leadership to motivate and develop staff
Strong organizational and delegation abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under deadlines
Flexible attendance and work availability

Job Qualifications

Minimum two years of post-high school education

Hotel experience preferred
Thorough knowledge of restaurant and hotel practices and procedures
Strong supervision, management and communication skills
Ability to investigate, analyze information and make logical conclusions
Knowledge of hotel operations including marketing plans, security, personnel relations, and budget forecasting
Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff
Ability to set priorities, plan, organize and delegate
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to work effectively under time constraints
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences

Job Duties

Direct the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods
Direct the day-to-day operations of the bar operations
Manage the Human Resources in the various outlets in order to attract, retain and motivate the associates
Interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel employees
Conduct performance and salary reviews
Resolve problems, provide open communications and recommend discipline and termination as appropriate
Implement company programs and manage the operations of the Restaurant, Room Service and any other food and beverage outlet to ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations and laws
Forecast, implement, monitor, control and report on outlet budgets and their components to maximize revenue and minimize expenses
Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience
Create, recommend and implement promotions, displays and buffet presentations to capture more in-house guests
Monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of the various outlet areas and equipment
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
