Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience as associate or assistant manager
  • Food Safety Manager certification required

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Working toward AA or BA/BS degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience as an Associate Manager and/or three years experience as an Assistant Manager
  • Food Safety Manager certification required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

  • Proven ability to problem solve and handle high-stress situations
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and understand contributing factors

Job Duties

  • Oversee restaurant operations execution and management of staff
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Manage daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
  • Provide an exceptional experience for guests by ensuring proper training and holding the restaurant team accountable
  • Review practices and modify as needed to continuously improve the guest experience
  • Respond to guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Maintain Denny's brand image through cleanliness, maintenance, and excellent service
  • Develop employees' knowledge and skills using training programs, individual development plans, and work assignments
  • Provide timely and constructive coaching and feedback
  • Direct restaurant operations to ensure brand standards for food and facilities are consistently achieved
  • Enforce sanitary practices and monitor proper security procedures
  • Maintain compliance with employment policies and regulations
  • Proactively address and resolve problems involving guests, employees, or facilities
  • Observe staff and all aspects of restaurant operations throughout shifts
