Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must complete Restaurant Manager training classes
  • Ability to stand and walk approximately 85%-95% of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
  • Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle for bank deposits and travel
  • Must comply with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
  • Must be 100% certified in all workstations (for internal promotion)
  • Must be a self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1+ years experience as an Associate Manager or 2 years as a First Assistant Manager for internal promotion
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external candidates
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
  • Proficient with personal computers and related software applications
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • Ensure systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented and followed
  • Identify and develop internal candidates for management and team leader positions
  • Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
  • Manage daily operations to ensure excellent guest service and food quality
  • Respond to guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards
  • Utilize management tools to analyze operational and financial performance
  • Implement action plans for sales and profit improvement based on data analysis
  • Manage costs and adhere to budget and restaurant goals
  • Foster a positive and ethical work environment
  • Provide coaching, development, and performance feedback to employees
  • Act as a role model of excellent guest service and food safety
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
