Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must complete Restaurant Manager training classes
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 85%-95% of shift
- Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle for bank deposits and travel
- Must comply with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
- Must be 100% certified in all workstations (for internal promotion)
- Must be a self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1+ years experience as an Associate Manager or 2 years as a First Assistant Manager for internal promotion
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external candidates
- ServSafe certification required
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
- Proficient with personal computers and related software applications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- Monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- Ensure systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented and followed
- Identify and develop internal candidates for management and team leader positions
- Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- Manage daily operations to ensure excellent guest service and food quality
- Respond to guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards
- Utilize management tools to analyze operational and financial performance
- Implement action plans for sales and profit improvement based on data analysis
- Manage costs and adhere to budget and restaurant goals
- Foster a positive and ethical work environment
- Provide coaching, development, and performance feedback to employees
- Act as a role model of excellent guest service and food safety
- Perform other related duties as assigned
