Job Requirements

  • Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for up to 8 hours
  • Food Handler\'s License preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience leading or managing a front-of-house restaurant team
  • understanding of steps of service
  • outstanding communication skills
  • strong leadership abilities
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • bachelor\'s or associate\'s degree in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferred
  • knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverages highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the Restaurant AGM in daily operations
  • oversee front-of-house staff including servers, bartenders, food runners, hosts, bussers, and barbacks
  • support hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating employees
  • document, investigate, escalate, and resolve employee and guest incidents
  • ensure exceptional service standards are met consistently
  • inspect dining room and storage areas for health and safety compliance
  • estimate food and beverage needs and supervise intake orders
  • review financial information such as sales, inventory, and costs to monitor budget
  • meet with dining room and bar personnel to plan restaurant activities and special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
