This job opportunity is offered by a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, distinctly separate from the corporate entity of Jack in the Box Inc. This independent franchisee manages all employment-related matters directly, which means that any individual hired for this position will be employed by the franchisee, not Jack in the Box Inc. This structure allows the franchisee to exercise full control over hiring decisions, staff discipline, wages, supervision, and scheduling, thereby creating a unique working environment tailored specifically to the needs of this particular restaurant location.

As a part of this restaurant team, you will be playing a vital role in delivering exceptional service to customers, supporting the overall operations of the establishment, and contributing to the franchisee’s success. Being employed by an independent franchisee offers employees a more localized and personal working relationship, with the possibility to grow within the restaurant and gain valuable experience in a dynamic, fast-paced industry. The role encompasses varied tasks from customer interaction to maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.

Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • legally authorized to work in the country
  • physically able to stand for extended periods
  • able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • availability to work shifts including weekends and holidays
  • good communication skills
  • basic knowledge of food safety practices

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a fast-food or restaurant environment is beneficial
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • greet and serve customers promptly and courteously
