With rapid expansion plans, Cook Out is actively seeking skilled professionals to join its workforce and contribute to its continued success. Offering competitive pay along with compelling sign-on bonuses, the company stands out as an attractive employer in the restaurant industry, providing stability and career advancement opportunities for its employees.
Currently, Cook Out is looking to hire an experienced Restaurant Maintenance Technician to join its dedicated maintenance team. This role is crucial as it ensures the seamless operation of essential kitchen equipment and facility systems that are vital to restaurant performance. As part of the maintenance department, the technician will be responsible for managing and repairing critical systems such as shake machines, refrigeration units, and HVAC systems. Additionally, the role involves cross-training on hot side kitchen equipment, making it a diverse and challenging position for skilled technicians. This role is best suited for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have strong technical skills, and can collaborate effectively with restaurant leadership and service managers.
The maintenance technician will be part of a team that serves multiple restaurant locations, ensuring each site is safe, clean, and operating efficiently. Responsibilities extend beyond repairs to include regular inspection and preventive maintenance, fostering a proactive approach that minimizes downtime and enhances store operations. The use of modern technology is emphasized; technicians will use company-provided tablets for tracking work orders and documenting maintenance activities, allowing for efficient communication and record-keeping.
The position offers more than just a job; it includes attractive perks such as sign-on bonuses ranging from $500 to $1,000, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, and financial benefits including company-paid life insurance and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions. The work environment supports a healthy work-life balance with paid vacation after one year, recognized holidays, and bonus opportunities linked to overtime, on-call duties, and weekends. Technicians are also provided with daily meals and company work vans, facilitating mobility and convenience while on the job.
In summary, the Restaurant Maintenance Technician role at Cook Out Restaurants offers a unique blend of technical responsibility, career growth potential, and comprehensive employee benefits within a respected and growing fast-food brand.
