The position of Line Cook at Piacquadio's is pivotal to the culinary operations, requiring a proactive and skilled individual who can handle various cooking stations such as Sauté, Grill, Fryer, and Prep. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with shifts offered during the day and night, accommodating diverse scheduling needs. Reporting directly to the executive chef, the Line Cook will ensure that the kitchen is properly stocked, clean, and organized while preparing components of dishes including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and making sauces. Attention to detail and adherence to health and safety guidelines are critical responsibilities in this role.   • At least 1 year of experience as a line cook
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team

Job Duties

  • Ensuring the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked
  • Preparing simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces
  • Reporting to the executive chef and following instructions
  • Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards
  • Cleaning prep areas and taking care of leftovers
  • Stocking inventory and supplies
  • Cooking menu items with the support of the kitchen staff
