Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to work in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cold, and kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications

  • 2 years of previous culinary or kitchen experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Ensure assigned station is properly set up and ready for service in accordance with kitchen standards and service timelines
  • Prepare and cook menu items for breakfast, lunch, or dinner service while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation standards
  • Assist head cooks and culinary leadership with food production and service as needed
  • Support other kitchen areas, including pantry, prep, and banquet production, as business needs require
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift
  • Complete daily opening and closing checklists accurately and consistently
  • Follow proper food storage procedures and adhere to all food safety and health department regulations
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure efficient service and a positive team environment
