Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to obtain ServSafe certification after hire if not already certified
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate and perform as part of a team
  • Ability to memorize and replicate recipe and menu item production procedures
  • Physical stamina to stand for up to 10 hours
  • Capability to meet deadlines and production goals with limited supervision
  • Comfortable working in environments with temperature changes
  • Ability to handle stressful situations positively
  • ServSafe certification is a plus but not required before starting

Job Duties

  • Adhering to all food safety and workplace sanitation requirements
  • Ensuring every item on station is produced to exact recipe and plating specifications
  • Meeting daily productivity standards as established by Kitchen Management
  • Setting up station with sufficient product and utensils and preparing cooking and food holding equipment to ensure station readiness
  • Prioritizing cooking and preparation times to ensure timely delivery of guest meals
  • Adjusting ingredients and menu item preparation standards for guest special requests
  • Cleaning work stations, equipment and utensils and maintaining organized food storage areas
  • Completing all duties and sidework to standard at shift end
  • Performing additional tasks and projects as assigned
