Restaurant Managers are integral to maintaining the daily operations of restaurant locations, overseeing all restaurant employees, and upholding company policies, including health and safety standards. They play a vital role in recruiting and developing leadership within their teams, fostering high employee retention rates, and maximizing productivity. Managers are also responsible for implementing merchandising and marketing programs effectively, utilizing profit and loss (P&L) statements and store reports to initiate meaningful changes that drive business success.

This role requires excellent communication skills, both oral and written, alongside strong interpersonal abilities to motivate and guide employees. Proficiency with computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, is essential to manage operational reports and administrative tasks. Physical requirements include the ability to multi-task, perform repetitive movements such as bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum one year of restaurant management experience
  • Ability to multi-task perform repeated bending standing and reaching
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Commitment to maintaining company policies and health standards

Job Duties

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership training and coaching for all restaurant employees
  • Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants developing leaders empowering employees and encouraging productivity
  • Oversee the restaurant condition ensuring compliance with company policies procedures and Health Department Standards
  • Implement all merchandising and marketing programs
  • Use P&L and store reports to affect change
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Utilize computer knowledge to manage operational tasks
