The company empowers its employees to 'activate awesome' by making meaningful impacts in their stores and communities on a daily basis. With a culture focused on growth, leadership, and community engagement, 7-Eleven offers a dynamic and supportive work environment where every team member can make a difference and build a rewarding career. As a company that values development, 7-Eleven fosters a strong 'promote from within' philosophy that opens opportunities for advancement at all levels of the organization.
The role of Restaurant Manager at 7-Eleven is a unique opportunity for individuals who enjoy working as part of a restaurant management team and already have some supervisory experience. This position is perfect for motivated candidates eager to develop their leadership skills and grow within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Many top managers at 7-Eleven began their careers as cashiers or part-timers, which speaks to the company’s dedication to employee development and opportunity. Through a comprehensive training program designed to help employees master the business and develop essential leadership qualities, 7-Eleven boasts some of the best store management teams in the retail and restaurant industries.
The Restaurant Manager role involves overseeing all restaurant operations to ensure excellent customer service, high employee morale, and compliance with company policies and health regulations. The manager is responsible for training and coaching team members, maintaining store conditions, implementing marketing and merchandising strategies, and using business analytics such as profit and loss statements and store reports to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. The company emphasizes creating a positive work atmosphere by focusing on hiring qualified applicants, developing future leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
In return for hard work and leadership, 7-Eleven provides competitive benefits such as a 401K or RRSP retirement plan, paid time off, medical, dental, life and vision insurance coverage, monthly bonus and incentive programs, tuition reimbursement, and adoption assistance (for US employees). The company values work-life balance and team member wellbeing, ensuring that employees have access to resources and support that foster professional and personal growth. This role is an excellent fit for individuals who are ready to take on new challenges, lead with integrity, and contribute meaningfully to the success of their store and the larger 7-Eleven brand.
