The Restaurant Leader role at Raising Cane's is a pivotal management position responsible for directing all facets of restaurant operations. This role requires strategic insight to maintain operational excellence and drive sales and profit growth while fostering people development within the team. The Restaurant Leader is charged with exemplifying and enforcing Raising Cane's culture standards to all crewmembers, customers, and partners, ensuring a positive and energetic environment that supports the brand's values. This role demands a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment, managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Physical demands include extended periods of standing, walking, lifting, and bending, as well as exposure to varied temperatures and commercial cleaning products requiring appropriate safety equipment.
Key responsibilities of the Restaurant Leader include overseeing financial success by managing budgets, forecasting, and analyzing profit and loss statements. The leader ensures compliance with company policies, legal standards, and operational procedures, along with hiring, training, and managing management-level crewmembers. Scheduling, performance management, and delivering exemplary customer service are essential components of this role. The Restaurant Leader also acts as the manager on duty, handling opening and closing procedures and cash management responsibilities. They work to maintain the restaurant’s cleanliness and operational status while contributing to community outreach through local marketing and new restaurant openings.
This position demands multiple soft skills such as strong organizational capabilities, adaptability, excellent communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence to manage performance and address issues effectively. Proficiency with technology tools like Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly is necessary. Commitment to a flexible schedule encompassing days, evenings, weekends, and travel for work-related functions and training is expected. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5+ years of experience in restaurant or retail management
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends and travel
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to manage and develop staff
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain professionalism as a brand ambassador
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensure overall financial success by forecasting and budgeting
