The role of the Restaurant Leader at Raising Cane's is pivotal in maintaining the operational standards and driving the restaurant’s overall success. This leadership position involves strategic direction, financial oversight, people development, and maintaining culture standards that embody the Raising Cane's brand. The Restaurant Leader is responsible for ensuring that all restaurant operations comply with company policies and relevant laws, managing profit and loss, and forecasting budgets to achieve financial goals. This role requires not only managing day-to-day activities but also developing and coaching management-level crewmembers to ensure high performance across all areas. The leader is tasked with opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling, scheduling work shifts, and upholding exemplary customer service throughout every shift. Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, the position demands physical agility and the ability to work under varied temperature conditions while handling food products safely and responsibly. Furthermore, the Restaurant Leader must champion the company’s policies and reward programs, fostering a positive workplace culture that motivates employees to perform their best. This job offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 per year and includes flexible scheduling, paid time off for eligible employees, and closure on major holidays, providing a balance of work and life commitments. Job Requirements

  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing

  • able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
  • able to recognize problems, set goals, create plans and convert plans into action to solve problems

  • proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
  • able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training
  • able to manage all public dealings in a professional manner, consistent with Raising Cane’s policies and acts as a brand ambassador inside and outside the restaurant
  • 5 plus years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • new restaurant opening and local restaurant marketing experience preferred
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • possess a valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Ensures overall financial success of the restaurant and is responsible for forecasting and budgeting
  • ensures overall restaurant compliance to company standards, policies and laws
  • hires and terminates management-level employees and crewmembers
  • creates crewmember work and training schedules
  • develops management-level crewmembers including performance management
  • acts as manager on duty, opens and closes the restaurant, manages cash handling
  • monitors profit and loss statements, develops and executes strategy in all areas of financial and operational performance
