Job Description

Aramark is a global leader in food services, facilities management, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests every day across 15 countries. Established with a deep commitment to quality and service, Aramark operates in a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, sports, business, and leisure. The company is dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences while promoting inclusivity and equal employment opportunities for all employees. Aramark values its workforce and focuses on career growth, offering comprehensive training programs and development opportunities to help individuals reach their full potential.

The role of a Restaurant Kitchen Manager at Aramark is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation and high standards of a commercial kitchen environment. As a Restaurant Kitchen Manager, you will have the responsibility of overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring excellent food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met, and leading your culinary team with skill and dedication. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this hands-on leadership position calls for someone who is passionate about food, skilled in culinary arts, and experienced in team management.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating staff schedules and activities to maximize efficiency and performance, providing guidance and mentorship to kitchen personnel, and supervising daily kitchen operations to ensure consistent quality and excellent service. You will play a key role in menu development, helping to invent and refine recipes, pricing menus, and establishing production standards to guarantee consistency across all food offerings. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing food costs by accurately estimating food consumption and making procurement decisions that align with budget requirements.

Safety and compliance will be a primary focus of your role, as you will maintain equipment through regular maintenance checks and strictly enforce food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Beyond operational duties, you will support unique catering functions and provide culinary training or demonstrations when requested, fostering the professional development of less experienced cooks by sharing your culinary expertise and techniques.

Aramark’s commitment to employee growth means you will be equipped with the right opportunities for career advancement and skill enhancement through targeted training programs and leadership workshops. This role is not only about managing the kitchen but also about inspiring a team, creating exceptional food experiences for guests, and contributing meaningfully to the company’s mission of service excellence. If you bring 2-3 years of relevant culinary experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for leadership in a fast-paced kitchen environment, this role offers a rewarding path to grow your culinary career within a respected global brand.
