Job Description
Cook Out is one of the fastest-growing quick-service restaurant (QSR) companies in the industry, known for delivering classic American favorites with a modern twist. Founded with a commitment to high-quality, fresh ingredients served alongside classic Southern hospitality, Cook Out has quickly earned a reputation for excellence among both customers and employees. With record-breaking growth, Cook Out continues to expand its footprint, offering opportunities for motivated individuals who want to build a rewarding career rather than just holding a job in the fast-food sector.
As a company, Cook Out values hard work, a fun and engaging work environment, and strong performance. They emphasize a culture where career advancement is based solely on individuals' efforts and achievements, which means success is in your hands. Known for its friendly atmosphere, dedication to customer satisfaction, and commitment to employee development, Cook Out provides a dynamic workplace where managers can develop leadership skills and thrive.
The role of an Hourly Manager at Cook Out is both challenging and fulfilling. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires managing day-to-day restaurant operations while working closely with team members to ensure every customer receives a fast, friendly, and high-quality experience. Hourly Managers at Cook Out do not just oversee—they actively participate in restaurant activities, including working alongside staff at the front counter and on the grill. This approach fosters teamwork, accountability, and a deeper connection with employees and customers alike.
Key responsibilities in this role include leading and developing team members by coaching, training, and recognizing talent to build a world-class workforce. Managers are responsible for handling all aspects of restaurant operations, from inventory and food preparation to customer service and cleanliness standards. Additionally, they must meet and exceed performance standards related to food quality, labor efficiency, and cost control through smart planning and strategic decision-making.
Cook Out values individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at multitasking under pressure. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of management experience, preferably in the restaurant industry, along with strong communication skills and a proven ability to lead large teams effectively. Leadership qualities such as the ability to motivate, develop, and retain employees are essential for success.
Joining Cook Out means more than just employment; it means joining a family that supports your professional growth and recognizes your contributions. The company offers competitive pay based on experience, additional performance-based bonuses, and a flexible work schedule designed to promote work-life balance with 4 to 5 day work weeks. Employees can enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance after 90 days, a 401k plan with up to 4 percent company matching, paid vacation, and holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas Day off.
Another unique advantage of working at Cook Out is the provision of free food during work shifts, which adds an extra perk to the employee experience. Overall, this role provides an excellent opportunity for driven individuals looking to advance their management careers in a supportive, fast-growing, and rewarding environment. If you have the passion, energy, and leadership skills to succeed, Cook Out invites you to apply and become a vital part of their expanding team.
