Job Requirements
- Must possess basic math skills
- must be able to count cash drawer accurately
- available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
- must be able to maintain a neat, professional, well-groomed appearance and uphold company appearance/dress standards
- must be able to maneuver to all areas of assigned restaurant throughout entire shift
- must be able to accurately and quickly process all cash transactions
- must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke
- must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations
- must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
Job Qualifications
- High volume dining experience preferred
- 1-year experience in customer service
- must possess excellent customer service/communication skills
- openTable or reservation system knowledge recommended
- understands variance policy of cash drawer and maintains low variance
Job Duties
- Conducts assigned duties according to procedures
- greets guests quickly and courteously
- seat guest promptly and with a smile
- able to sell guest on all seating areas of the restaurant (i.e. bar and patio)
- be aware of table status and control seating times
- helps service guests as necessary in a team aspect (may include but not limited to: bussing tables, taking drink orders, rolling silverware, etc.)
- knows how to ring up all transactions and all tenders
