Job Requirements

Ability to lift, handle, and carry trays and smallwares weighing up to 25 pounds
Good sense of balance and physical ability to bend, kneel, reach, and squat frequently
Capacity to stand and move efficiently for periods of up to four hours
Effective communication skills and active listening abilities with supervisors, employees, and guests
Ability to maintain a professional appearance
Willingness to work flexible schedules

Job Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude
Manage the flow of guests by taking reservations, assigning tables, and ensuring efficient seating
Provide accurate wait times to guests and keep them informed about their table status
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and fair seating processes
Escort guests to their assigned tables, present menus, and assist with seating arrangements, accommodating special requests when possible
Engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to any inquiries or concerns
