The position available is for a Restaurant Host/Hostess, a critical role that forms the first point of contact for guests visiting the hotel’s dining establishments. The host/hostess is responsible for warmly greeting and seating guests promptly at tables suited to their party size and preferences, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience from the moment guests arrive. This role entails managing reservations efficiently, answering inquiries about the restaurant and hotel services professionally, and addressing guest needs with genuine care and attentiveness. Recognizing returning guests by name and personalizing service contributes to building lasting guest loyalty and satisfaction. Maintaining the appearance and quality of menus also falls under the host’s responsibilities, supporting a polished and inviting dining environment.
Ideal candidates will bring at least one year of high-volume hosting experience, preferably within luxury hotels or resorts, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, personal presentation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with reservation systems such as Opera and OpenTable is advantageous, as is the capability to lift and carry light loads. This full-time role requires availability for diverse scheduling, including daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, reflecting the dynamic nature of hospitality work.

Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of high-volume host/hostess experience
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computer equipment
- Knowledge of Opera and OpenTable preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs
- US work authorization required
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of high-volume host/hostess experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions

- Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job
- Knowledge of Opera and OpenTable preferred or is a plus

- Ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 10 lbs
Job Duties
- Seat guests promptly at a table pre-set for the number in the party and according to guest preference
- Answer telephones to take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant or any other hotel service
- Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name and utilize the guest's name consistently
- Inspect and maintain menus to ensure quality, condition and appearance
