Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a similar host/hostess role preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and manage physical demands of the job
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service mindset
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, fine dining restaurant
  • Strong passion for food and wine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a friendly attitude
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service etiquette
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff
  • Basic computer skills for managing reservations and seating charts

Job Duties

  • Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival
  • Managing reservation and seating assignments efficiently
  • Communicating wait times and accommodating guest preferences
  • Coordinating with the restaurant team to ensure smooth service flow
  • Maintaining a clean and organized host station
  • Providing guests with menus and information about daily specials
  • Assisting with guest inquiries and resolving seating concerns professionally
