Job Description

TGI Fridays is a well-established casual dining restaurant chain known for its vibrant atmosphere, diverse menu offerings, and commitment to delivering a memorable dining experience. With a legacy of providing excellent food and outstanding customer service, TGI Fridays continues to be a popular destination for guests looking to enjoy a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The restaurant prides itself on a team-oriented culture where every staff member plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and the satisfaction of every guest. TGI Fridays operates multiple locations, each designed to offer a consistent and energetic dining environment that combines good food with excellent hospitality.

We are currently seeking a Host or Greeter to join our dedicated team. This front-of-house role is essential in shaping the first impression guests receive upon entering the restaurant. As a Host, your responsibilities will revolve around warmly welcoming guests, managing the waitlist during busy meal times, assisting with reservations, and ensuring that guests are comfortably seated and provided attentive service throughout their dining experience. You will play a key role in maintaining an organized flow of customers to optimize seating arrangements and balance the workload among waiting staff. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with guests will help enhance their visit from start to finish, ultimately contributing to the establishment's goal of creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.

The position requires a highly personable individual with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable handling phone calls, managing reservations for large parties, distributing menus, and addressing any initial inquiries guests might have. Additionally, you will be expected to perform general cleaning duties throughout your shift and ensure the host station is well-maintained to support overall restaurant cleanliness and order. This role demands physical stamina as the Host must be able to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining a cheerful and professional demeanor.

TGI Fridays values health and safety, and as part of our team, you will be required to follow company-mandated health guidelines and protocols to provide a safe environment for both staff and guests. We offer a signing bonus to new hires and provide a comprehensive benefits package available to full-time employees, which includes health insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, a 401K plan with matching contributions, and employee discounts. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to grow their careers within a respected restaurant brand. Join us and be a part of a team committed to excellence and guest satisfaction.
