The Host/Hostess role at Lessing's Hospitality Group is a dynamic and customer-focused position integral to the guest experience within their restaurants. As the first point of contact, the Host/Hostess plays a vital role in setting the tone for guests’ visits by warmly greeting and seating patrons, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth communication between guests and kitchen staff. The role requires excellent multi-tasking skills to handle seating arrangements appropriately, present menus, take orders accurately, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining spaces. Additionally, the host/hostess assists with event-related tasks like setting up tables and maintaining both interior and exterior restaurant areas. Employment is on an hourly pay basis, with a salary range in New York between $16.50 and $20.00 per hour.
