The Host/Hostess position at Lessing's Hospitality Group plays a critical role in shaping guests' first impressions and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Responsible for greeting guests both in person and over the phone, the host or hostess provides attentive and friendly service that sets the tone for an enjoyable visit. This role involves managing seating arrangements efficiently, presenting menus, and taking orders to relay them accurately to the kitchen staff. Hosts and hostesses also oversee the preparedness of the dining area, ensuring cleanliness, availability of menus, and correct table settings. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities related to event support such as setting up tables and maintaining both the interior and exterior of the restaurant. This hourly position offers competitive pay ranging from $16.50 to $20.00 per hour for NY-based employees and includes benefits such as paid time off, 401K, and medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time staff.
