The Host plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for guests in our various dining outlets. This position is responsible for the prompt recognition and seating of guests, assisting servers in delivering attentive and courteous service, and managing payment collection alongside the cashier. The Host is expected to exhibit strong communication skills, multi-task efficiently, and demonstrate initiative by anticipating needs before they arise. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in hotel operations or a related field being preferred.

The Host also ensures compliance with company standards and regulatory certifications related to food handling and safety. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of menus, managing reservations, operating cash registers, preparing cashier reports, and having thorough knowledge of state liquor laws and room service standards. The Host must also participate in ongoing training and meetings to remain current with company policies and industry standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Greeting guests, providing clear and accurate wait time and guiding guests to table
- Comply at all times with The Company's standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Comply with certification requirements as required for the position to include Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, Safety, etc
- Have a passion for customer service and strong communication skills
- Know how to prepare cashier report at the end of the shift
- Know how to properly take reservations for outlets
- Ensure quality control of menus with regard to cleanliness and appearance
- Perform opening and closing duties according to established side work checklist
- Ability to answer the telephone according to standards
- Have a complete knowledge of standards of service for receiving a room service order
- Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in all applicable departments
- Assist servers and cashiers in the servicing of guests as needed
- Know and understand the state liquor laws
- Perform other duties as requested by management
- Attend meetings/training as required by management
