Job Requirements

  • At least five years of experience leading food and beverage teams
  • Experience managing daily operations of upscale high-volume restaurants
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with inventory and staff management
  • Proficiency with reservation and point of sale systems such as Resy and Toast
  • Availability to work full-time in person in Detroit MI

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and direction to a talented food and beverage team including FOH and BOH
  • Manage recruiting hiring training and scheduling of staff
  • Support inventory management and ordering
  • Manage daily service ensuring high quality and consistent execution
  • Drive development of employees
  • Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained
  • Manage weekly reservations and availability and handle guest inquiries
  • Manage preparation of menus and systems including Resy and Toast
  • Aid in coordination of special events and ad hoc projects
  • Manage cash on site
  • Manage daily records leveraging analytics and data to drive business decision making
  • Ensure process standardization and continuous improvement
  • Cultivate a warm and welcoming environment for all guests
