Job Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of restaurant management experience
  • experience in upscale dining environment
  • experience in a luxurious cocktail environment preferred
  • experience managing a unionized work environment preferred
  • availability for various shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • full-time employment
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of financial performance metrics
  • ability to train and develop staff

Job Qualifications

  • Prior restaurant management experience in an upscale fine dining environment
  • prior experience at a Michelin Star restaurant
  • significant experience managing a unionized or organized workforce
  • no less than 5 years of substantial work experience at the level of General Manager
  • prior restaurant management experience in a Forbes 5-Star hotel or equivalent
  • committed to delivering high levels of customer service
  • high level of IT proficiency

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations including guest service standards and initiatives
  • monitor and develop team member performance
  • create and maintain customer database and partner with Sales and Marketing/Public Relations on marketing strategy
  • maximize efficiency of technology systems such as Open Table
  • monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends and make improvements
  • ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote food, beverage and services and maximize revenue
  • recruit, interview and train team members
