Job Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of restaurant management experience
- experience in upscale dining environment
- experience in a luxurious cocktail environment preferred
- experience managing a unionized work environment preferred
- availability for various shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- full-time employment
- strong leadership skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of financial performance metrics
- ability to train and develop staff
Job Qualifications
- Prior restaurant management experience in an upscale fine dining environment
- prior experience at a Michelin Star restaurant
- significant experience managing a unionized or organized workforce
- no less than 5 years of substantial work experience at the level of General Manager
- prior restaurant management experience in a Forbes 5-Star hotel or equivalent
- committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- high level of IT proficiency
Job Duties
- Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations including guest service standards and initiatives
- monitor and develop team member performance
- create and maintain customer database and partner with Sales and Marketing/Public Relations on marketing strategy
- maximize efficiency of technology systems such as Open Table
- monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends and make improvements
- ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote food, beverage and services and maximize revenue
- recruit, interview and train team members
