Job Description
Wendy's is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain known for its fresh, made-to-order meals and a family-friendly dining experience. As one of the largest quick-service restaurant brands worldwide, Wendy's has built a strong reputation for quality food, exceptional customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The company operates thousands of locations through company-owned and franchised restaurants. Each Wendy's restaurant functions as a vital part of the community, offering not just food but a place for customers to connect and enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
The role of the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) at Wendy's is pivotal in maintaining the restaurant’s operational excellence and fostering a positive work environment. This position is ideal for motivated, career-oriented individuals who thrive in fast-paced, customer-centric environments. As the leader of the Restaurant Management Team, the RGM is responsible for driving sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the team works cohesively to meet both financial and operational goals. The RGM sets the tone for the restaurant’s culture, emphasizing teamwork, fun, and a family-oriented atmosphere.
This is a career-building opportunity offering competitive annual pay ranging from $48,500 to $63,000, coupled with bonuses and comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision plans, along with 401(k) with employer match, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and life insurance options. The role also benefits from flexible scheduling, allowing managers to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Employee discounts and meal perks add further value to this position.
Wendy's encourages ongoing career development and many of its restaurant managers advance to higher leadership positions within the company. Training and growth opportunities abound for individuals who demonstrate a commitment to leadership and operational excellence. The company's strong culture of support ensures that RGMs have access to the resources needed to succeed and grow within the organization.
In this role, the RGM is more than a manager; they are a leader and role model who embodies the company's values and vision for customer service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include fostering a "Customer First" attitude, ensuring adherence to food safety and brand standards, managing a diverse team, solving problems creatively, and achieving sales and profit targets. The RGM is also tasked with maintaining a restaurant environment that customers are eager to return to while balancing employee satisfaction and training.
