Within The Sunny, Julene serves as the hotel’s signature restaurant and an essential centerpiece of its food and beverage offerings. Julene is envisaged as a refined yet approachable neighborhood restaurant that specializes in familiar American cuisine crafted with high standards and care. The Restaurant General Manager role at Julene is a key leadership position reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage. This position is responsible for strategic and operational leadership of the restaurant’s front-of-house operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences and driving strong financial performance. The General Manager maintains the restaurant’s service and brand standards through effective team management and operational oversight. The role requires collaboration with culinary leadership to ensure smooth dining operations and an excellent culture of professionalism, accountability, and hospitality. By instilling operational discipline and leadership, the General Manager plays a critical role in establishing Julene as a destination restaurant within the vibrant Miami dining scene. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in food and beverage management
- minimum 5 years of management experience in a related role
- proven ability to manage full P&L and financial operations
- experience with scheduling and labor management
- Serve Safe Certification preferred
- TIPS or CARE Certification required
- CPR Certification preferred
- availability to work both morning and evening shifts
- fluency in English
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to maintain health, safety and sanitation compliance
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or minimum 5 years experience in food and beverage management
- full P&L management experience
- strong financial acumen
- excellent business communication skills
- strong associate relation skills
- professional appearance and confident attitude
- excellent problem solving skills
- experience with scheduling, payroll and labor management
- experience with TOAST POS system
- current Serve Safe Certification preferred
- TIPS or CARE Certification

- ability to work both AM and PM shifts
- fluent in reading, writing and speaking English
- ability to train employees in alcohol intervention, food handling, and sanitation
- effective communication skills with public and employees
