This specific opportunity is for the role of Restaurant General Manager at a KFC franchise. The Restaurant General Manager will act as the #1 leader of their restaurant, responsible for driving the success of one of the world’s largest food brands on a local level. This leadership role carries significant responsibilities, including ownership of the restaurant's performance metrics, leading the team to achieve goals, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience is consistently delivered. The General Manager fosters a positive and collaborative environment by mentoring and developing team members, managing communications about goals and promotions, and inspiring their KFC family to reach higher. Acting as a key business partner, the General Manager collaborates with other managers and area leaders to drive the restaurant business forward.

Typical responsibilities include leading all aspects of restaurant operations such as supervising staff, overseeing food quality and cleanliness, enhancing customer service, and ensuring that the restaurant presents a clean and friendly ambiance. The role also includes recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and developing team members to strengthen the overall workforce and improve operational efficiency. Since this position is part of a franchised location, the General Manager's employment is through the franchisee who solely handles hiring and employment matters.

Success in this role demands leadership by example, with a strong focus on customer service excellence, food quality, visual cleanliness, and operational results. Job Duties

  • Ownership of your restaurant’s success metrics and lead restaurant team to reach goals
  • Lead the guest experiences in your restaurant that includes friendly interactions, a clean restaurant and fresh meals
  • Grow and mentor your KFC family through training, development and onboarding new team members
  • Lead communications of your team’s goals, upcoming promotions, business updates, etc
  • Inspire the overall positive and collaborative family environment
  • Partner with other Restaurant General Managers and Area Leaders to grow and move the business forward
