Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • some additional coursework or training in restaurant management preferred
  • college degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, or related field preferred
  • at least one year of restaurant experience
  • previous management experience in hospitality, food service, or customer service preferred
  • fluent English speaking and written communication skills
  • good time management skills
  • professional dress, speech, and behavior required
  • ability to stand or walk for up to 10-hour shifts
  • must have transportation for errands and bank deposits
  • ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Current retail or restaurant manager experience
  • ability to work days, nights and weekends as necessary
  • ability to frequently walk in and around the restaurant to interact with employees and monitor customer satisfaction
  • daily use of keyboard to enter information
  • ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • capability of performing any duty of any employee while training or covering staffing needs
  • valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • strong communication skills
  • professional dress, speech, and behavior
  • time management skills

Job Duties

  • Oversees production of food according to sanitation and quality standards
  • manages and mentors staff including recruiting, hiring, training of all employees, overseeing HR, payroll, managing issues of discipline and termination, ensuring ongoing training and education
  • manages supplies and ensures orderly work areas
  • ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
  • ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies
  • provides timely and accurate reports as required
  • addresses customer concerns and issues
  • ensures stated goals are met
