We are currently seeking an exceptional Head Coach who will play a crucial role in leading our team and ensuring that every shift runs smoothly and efficiently. The Head Coach will be actively involved in managing daily operations, supporting and mentoring staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and sanitation. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to excellence in both customer service and team development. The successful candidate will have a passion for leadership within the hospitality industry and a dedication to fostering a positive and productive work environment.
The Head Coach position requires an individual with a solid foundation in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably with a college degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, or a related field. Candidates should have at least one year of restaurant experience and prior management experience within food service or customer service environments is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and exceptional time management abilities are essential, as the Head Coach will be responsible for coordinating multiple tasks and leading the team effectively throughout shifts.
As Head Coach, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, ensuring strict adherence to sanitation and quality standards, and maintaining organized and efficient work areas. Your role will also encompass managing the recruitment, hiring, training, and ongoing development of team members, overseeing HR and payroll functions, handling employee discipline and termination processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant federal and state laws and company policies. You will be a key player in addressing customer concerns promptly and ensuring that our operational goals are consistently met.
This is a full-time role that demands flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as needed. The position involves active engagement on the floor, frequently walking to interact with employees and monitor customer satisfaction. Additionally, physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform tasks across various employee roles when necessary to cover staffing needs. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record are required to fulfill responsibilities such as making bank deposits, delivering orders, and running errands. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- some additional coursework or training in restaurant management preferred
- college degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, or related field preferred
- at least one year of restaurant experience
- previous management experience in hospitality, food service, or customer service preferred
- fluent English speaking and written communication skills
- good time management skills
- professional dress, speech, and behavior required
- ability to stand or walk for up to 10-hour shifts
- must have transportation for errands and bank deposits
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Job Duties
- Oversees production of food according to sanitation and quality standards
- manages and mentors staff including recruiting, hiring, training of all employees, overseeing HR, payroll, managing issues of discipline and termination, ensuring ongoing training and education
- manages supplies and ensures orderly work areas
- ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
- ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies
- provides timely and accurate reports as required
