Our brand is synonymous with exceptional hospitality, innovative cuisine, and an unwavering focus on quality and guest satisfaction. We pride ourselves on creating distinct dining environments that combine bold flavors, locally sourced ingredients, and expertly curated wine and beverage programs. Our team is a passionate collective of hospitality professionals, culinary experts, and creative minds dedicated to fostering memorable moments and long-term relationships with our guests. At City Group Hospitality, we believe that dining is not just about food but about the experience, the atmosphere, and the connection between our team and the people we serve. This ethos has made us a leader in the upscale dining sector, known for our consistent quality and innovative approach to restaurant management.

The role of General Manager at City Group Hospitality’s upscale restaurant is a pivotal leadership position responsible for steering the entire operation towards excellence, profitability, and growth. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $65,000 per year, including bonus pay, comprehensive health benefits, and significant opportunities for career advancement within our expanding restaurant group. The General Manager will serve as a hands-on leader, overseeing daily operations to ensure seamless service and operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities include leading and developing a motivated, high-performing team through recruitment, training, and mentorship, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. The manager must ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining ambiance, service consistency, and prompt resolution of guest feedback. Operational oversight includes managing health, safety, and liquor law compliance while overseeing financial performance through effective management of profit and loss statements, budgeting, labor costs, inventory, and vendor relations. The General Manager will also play an instrumental role in shaping the restaurant's wine and beverage program, collaborating with the beverage team to curate wine selections and pairing programs, training staff on wine knowledge and upselling techniques, and monitoring beverage costs. Additionally, this role involves partnering with marketing to execute promotions and events, engaging with the community, building relationships with VIP guests, and managing the restaurant’s online reputation. This multifaceted role requires not only exemplary leadership skills but also a deep understanding of fine dining standards, wine and beverage service, and financial acumen. The General Manager will work onsite and is expected to be flexible with shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability to meet operational demands.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years of general management experience in upscale or fine-dining restaurant settings, a passion for hospitality, strong problem-solving capabilities, and proficiency with restaurant management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative hospitality group where your leadership can have a direct impact on the success and growth of a premier dining destination. We invite passionate, results-driven leaders to apply and become a vital part of the City Group Hospitality family, bringing hospitality and fine dining excellence to every guest encounter.
