The role available is a Restaurant General Manager position, part of the team leadership responsible for driving operational excellence and delivering a memorable guest experience. This leadership role requires managing high-volume, fast-paced restaurant operations with a focus on coaching, team development, financial stewardship, and community engagement. The position involves overseeing daily activities, managing inventory and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health codes, and optimizing profitability through budget management and sales growth strategies.
In this role, the General Manager will lead by example, cultivating a culture of hospitality and excellence amongst team members. Responsibilities include developing staff skills, managing payroll and schedules, and executing company policies to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. The manager also serves as a community ambassador, promoting the Shake Shack brand locally through events and word-of-mouth engagement.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant general management experience
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes
- Ability to train others on operations
- Demonstrated hospitality and motivational skills
- Strong leadership with coaching focus
- Financial knowledge of business operations
- Minimum 3 years with P&L responsibilities
- Food handler certification preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant general management experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
- Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of the Shack operations
- Demonstrated ability to champion hospitality and motivate team members
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and achieving excellence
- Knowledgeable in all financial aspects of business operations
- Minimum 3 years of P&L responsibilities
- Food handler certification, preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours
