The role of General Manager at Border Foods is central to driving operational excellence across the restaurant. This leadership position carries the significant responsibility of running the entire restaurant operation, which includes overseeing a strong team dedicated to consistently providing guests with excellent food and a friendly, welcoming experience. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years restaurant or retail experience or combined experience and education
- ServeSafe certification
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Job Qualifications

- Successful track record of hiring and retaining high-quality team members
- ServeSafe certification

Job Duties

- Oversee entire restaurant operation ensuring quality food and friendly customer service
- Schedule and deploy team members effectively maintaining operational efficiency
- Monitor team performance and hold members accountable to standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
- Manage point of sale systems including reporting failures and verifying pricing updates
- Build and maintain a positive and safe work environment fostering team unity and customer satisfaction
