Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years restaurant or retail experience or equivalent education experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServeSafe certified
  • Ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays
  • Proven track record of successful hiring and retention
  • Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training

  • Experience in labor control, inventory management, and cash handling

Job Duties

  • Reinforce Border Foods core values including accountability, integrity, family, excellence, teamwork, and empowerment
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring high quality food and friendly service
  • Schedule and deploy team members efficiently
  • Monitor team performance and hold team members accountable for standards
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
  • Manage point of sale systems and report any failures
  • Develop and implement training programs and new hire orientation
  • Handle customer complaints with sincerity and effective solutions
  • Control labor, inventory, and waste management
  • Source, hire, and develop excellent team members
  • Drive restaurant profitability through strategic planning and P&L interpretation
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment for employees and guests
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members
