As an established name in the food service industry, Zaxbys has built a reputation for providing exceptional guest experiences, a positive work culture, and opportunities for team growth. This establishment focuses on combining great food with a memorable dining experience, making it a favorite among community members and food enthusiasts alike.

The role of General Manager at Zaxbys is critical to maintaining the brand's high standards and fostering a productive, motivated workforce. This leadership position entails providing strategic guidance and hands-on support to restaurant teams to cultivate an upbeat culture and maintain high morale. The General Manager plays an instrumental role in executing action plans aligned with corporate goals, focusing on key performance indicators such as sales growth, cost control, employee development, and overall guest satisfaction. By overseeing day-to-day operations, the General Manager ensures the restaurant runs smoothly, upholding the quality, cleanliness, and service standards that Zaxbys is known for.

The General Manager is expected to handle staffing responsibilities including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and recognizing top talent while providing ongoing coaching and development to the team. Accountability measures are set to maintain high performance levels and to ensure that work schedules are both efficient and reflective of business needs, optimizing labor costs without sacrificing service quality. Beyond operations management, the General Manager is also tasked with building strong community relationships to drive sales and fostering a workplace environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and professional growth.

Zaxbys offers competitive pay for General Managers along with substantial bonus potential, paid quarterly, which can equate to up to 24 percent of the annual salary. Employees also enjoy additional perks such as free meals, paid time off, paid holidays, and participation in an employee referral program. Career advancement opportunities are actively promoted within the organization, making this role suitable for individuals seeking long-term career development within the food service industry.

The benefits package offered by Zaxbys is comprehensive and includes medical insurance with an HSA option available, dental and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, employer-paid life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with an employer match. The retirement plan features a 100 percent match on the first 3 percent of employee contributions and a 50 percent match on the next 2 percent, providing a strong foundation for employees' financial security. These benefits reflect Zaxbys' commitment to supporting their employees' health, well-being, and future retirement planning.

In summary, becoming a General Manager at Zaxbys means joining a company that values its team members as much as its guests. The position requires a careful balance of leadership, operational expertise, and interpersonal skills to create an environment where both customers and employees can thrive. This job is ideal for experienced restaurant managers who are passionate about quality service and developing successful teams in a positive culture.
