Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Serv Safe certified
  • Previous restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Flexible and able to adjust to changing demands and priorities
  • Pass background check and drug test as required
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Basic computer proficiency

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some college preferred
  • Previous restaurant experience desirable
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Serv Safe certified
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to listen and influence others effectively
  • Knowledge of profit and loss analysis
  • Understanding of cash controls, labor analysis, and food cost calculations
  • Strong problem-solving and sound judgment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts with open availability
  • Leadership ability to develop and motivate teams
  • Basic computer skills including order processing systems

Job Duties

  • Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service
  • Check product quality and communicate with customers to assure availability
  • Effectively train and coach employees to show courtesy and handle complaints
  • Conduct meetings with team members and management team for planning, training, and reviewing operations
  • Develop and maintain acceptable sales levels
  • Utilize local store marketing
  • Monitor utilities, supplies, and other cost categories to minimize impact
  • Analyze profits and loss statements and take corrective action
  • Follow proper procedures and specifications in food preparation and service
  • Control restaurant inventory through established systems
  • Use company approved labor guidelines
  • Develop and post labor schedules
  • Adjust labor to changes in sales volume
  • Manage restaurant cash control and make daily bank deposits
  • Follow cash handling procedures
  • Report accidents and incidents to Risk Management
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Achieve high health department ratings
  • Ensure restaurant and team image through cleanliness and uniform standards
  • Keep District Manager informed of staffing changes
  • Process payroll and maintain applicant tracking
  • Conduct performance reviews and document disciplinary actions
  • Utilize preventive maintenance system
  • Attend meetings scheduled by District Manager
  • Perform required administrative paperwork
