Zaxby's Orlando location at 7061 Narcoossee Road (Vista Palms) is currently seeking a dedicated General Manager to join their expanding team. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards and positive culture that define the Zaxby's brand. As General Manager, you will provide leadership and guidance to your team, developing a work environment that encourages teamwork, outstanding service, and continuous growth. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all daily operations, managing staffing and training, controlling costs, promoting sales growth, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and adhering to brand standards consistently.

In this leadership role, you will be tasked with completing all mandatory training programs such as the Zaxbys General Manager Development Plan, Operations Excellence Capstone Class, Food Safety Certification, and Manager Certification. Ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently while providing excellent service will require excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to maintain appropriate staffing levels by recruiting, hiring, and retaining talented team members, while driving their ongoing development. Your leadership will help foster a positive workplace culture and motivate your team to meet and exceed operational goals.
Operational duties include managing schedules to optimize labor costs, delegating shift assignments, and upholding service, product quality, and cleanliness standards. You will be responsible for managing profitability by increasing sales through community engagement and delivering outstanding food and service. Cost control will be essential, along with compliance to all company and legal policies. Performance monitoring and review will be routine, with an emphasis on continuous improvement to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and have open availability capable of covering five days and 48 hours or more per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with some college preferred. Prior management experience of 3-5 years is essential, ideally with a background in restaurant management. The physical demands include standing, walking, occasional bending or climbing, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, all of which are integral to maintaining a safe and dynamic restaurant environment.
