Job Description
Alvarado Restaurant Nation (ARN) is a minority-owned family business that has been serving communities and philanthropic partners since 1984. As a top franchisee of KFC, ARN combines personal support with the high-quality tools and processes of the KFC system to create an empowering environment for its team members. The company is headquartered in its Denver Delight Center and employs a team of over 40 corporate staff members dedicated to fostering the core values of the organization, such as "Be Your Best Self." ARN prides itself on promoting from within and supporting team members at every stage of their career with a dedicated training team and a comprehensive career development program.
ARN operates over 250 restaurants across five states and is known for its aggressive growth, which provides limitless career advancement opportunities for its staff. The company culture prioritizes mentorship, respect, and personal growth, rewarding hard work through awards, cash bonuses, celebrations, and a family-oriented atmosphere. Events like BBQs, picnics, holiday parties, and monthly rallies highlight ARN’s commitment to making moments count.
The role being offered is that of a Restaurant General Manager, which is a pivotal position responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Managers at ARN are expected to lead with integrity, execute processes with financial accountability, and uphold high standards in quality, service, and cleanliness. They are empowered to mentor and lead their teams effectively while ensuring that food safety remains a top priority.
As a Restaurant General Manager, you will manage labor scheduling, inventory control, and financial tracking, including profit and loss accountability. This role requires strong leadership skills to recruit, hire, train, and develop team members, conducting performance appraisals and creating action plans for continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies, cash control, security procedures, and delivering exceptional guest service.
This position offers competitive starting salaries complemented by an industry-leading, monthly-paid bonus plan. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, Teledoc, short-term and long-term disability insurance, as well as paid vacations, flexible schedules, and GED programs to nurture both your professional and personal growth. It is important to note that you will be employed by ARN as a KFC franchisee, which operates independently from KFC Corporation and is responsible for its own employment practices.
ARN is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusive hiring without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, or veteran status. The physical demands of the job require a capacity to work in varying temperatures, stand or move for long hours, and handle physical tasks such as lifting and balancing weights. Reasonable accommodations are provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Team member roles include line cook, prep cook, dishwasher, server, cashier, host, drive-thru operator, customer service, supervisor, team trainer, or crew member, all critical to the restaurant’s success.
Joining ARN means being part of a people-first organization that truly values its team and provides the tools necessary to succeed and grow in the competitive restaurant industry. If you are motivated, eager to lead, and want to contribute to a winning team focused on delivering delight to guests and communities, ARN offers an outstanding platform to build a rewarding career.
