Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in restaurant management
- At least 2 years in leadership role
- Proven financial management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in restaurant management with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience managing restaurant operations including staffing, financial oversight, and guest service
- Strong understanding of restaurant financials, cost control, and budgeting
- Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and vendor relations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Office, and restaurant management software
- Ability to analyze financial data and implement revenue growth strategies
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations including food safety and alcohol laws
Job Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring service, kitchen, and cleanliness standards are met
- Maintain efficient workflow ensuring timely guest seating and order processing
- Monitor guest satisfaction addressing complaints promptly
- Coordinate between kitchen and front-of-house staff for high-quality service
- Lead, train, and supervise restaurant staff including servers, bartenders, hosts, cooks, and supervisors
- Schedule staff shifts ensuring coverage during peak times and events
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching
- Foster positive work environment and high staff morale
- Develop and implement staff training programs
- Manage restaurant budget and financial goals including revenue, labor, food, and beverage costs
- Control operational expenses to maximize profitability
- Analyze sales trends and implement strategies such as promotions and events
- Prepare financial reports and adjust strategies accordingly
- Ensure exceptional guest service and address concerns professionally
- Develop strategies to improve guest retention and dining experience
- Collaborate with kitchen team on menu development
- Monitor and manage inventory levels preventing shortages or overstock
- Conduct inventory audits to reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Coordinate marketing efforts including social media and promotions
- Plan events and themed nights to increase sales
- Establish vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues
