KFC, a globally recognized leader in the quick-service restaurant industry, is renowned for its iconic fried chicken and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a brand, KFC operates thousands of restaurants worldwide, focusing on quality food, innovation, and building strong community ties. Known for fostering career growth and leadership development, KFC positions itself as more than just a fast-food chain — it is a place where employees can build lasting careers, develop key skills, and contribute to thriving local communities.

The role of Restaurant General Manager (RGM) at KFC is a dynamic and full-spectrum leadership position. This role is pivotal in driving the success of the restaurant by overseeing operational excellence, team development, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. The RGM is entrusted with running the restaurant as a business, making strategic decisions to boost profitability while cultivating a positive and inclusive culture. This full-time position demands a visionary leader who is not only passionate about driving team success but is also adept at managing complex operational responsibilities. The Restaurant General Manager manages recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of a diverse team that extends from entry-level Team Members to Shift Supervisors. They craft tailored development plans to promote continuous growth and celebrate achievements while fostering a culture rooted in respect, equity, and inclusion.

In terms of operations, the RGM ensures rigorous adherence to cleanliness, safety, and food quality standards, while also implementing new product rollouts smoothly and efficiently. Business leadership is a significant focus, with responsibilities including analyzing financial data, controlling costs, managing labor and inventory, and maintaining compliance with all regulations and brand guidelines. The RGM also keeps a keen eye on local market competition, positioning the restaurant to excel through superior service and digital engagement.

KFC offers competitive compensation, including base pay and bonus eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package that supports employees' overall well-being and professional growth. This includes paid time off, free meals during shifts, medical, dental, and vision coverage, leadership training, tuition reimbursement, and exclusive discounts. Notably, KFC's commitment to education is reflected in programs like the KFC Foundation with offerings such as free college tuition through Western Governors University and hardship assistance.

Joining KFC as a Restaurant General Manager offers an impactful opportunity to build a leadership legacy within a renowned global brand. The role is suited for experienced leaders with a track record of team building, financial acumen, and passionate commitment to creating inclusive, high-performing work environments.
