The Dining Services Manager role at Highland Springs is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of meal preparation and service across multiple venues including the kitchen, restaurant, café, and catering services. This full-time position offers a competitive salary starting at $67,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The Dining Services Manager plays a critical role in directing and supervising Dining Managers, Trainers, Restaurant Staff, Utility Staff, and Culinary Staff. The role includes responsibilities for training, evaluating, and developing team members to create exceptional dining experiences that align with the community's hospitality standards. This position requires advanced knowledge of food production, service, and sanitation to maintain high standards while complying with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key responsibilities include managing the overall dining program, encompassing front-of-house and back-of-house operations such as menu development, meal preparation, food service, and financial management of dining operations. The manager ensures that the dining services and nutrition care meet regulatory compliance and quality standards with a strong emphasis on hospitality. Additionally, the role supports staff training programs to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency. The Dining Services Manager has direct oversight of dining managers, culinary, utility, and service staff, ensuring smooth coordination and performance through effective supervision, evaluation, and discipline when necessary.

Job Duties
- Directly manages the overall dining program including meal service front of house and culinary back of house program menu development, preparation, service, delivery and financial
- Supports the hospitality program
- Responsible for the overall supervision and efficiency of dining managers, culinary, utility staff and service staff including training, evaluating and disciplining
- Supports supervision, direction and efficiency of meal service and hospitality with all dining staff
- Manages the financial operation of the dining program
- Assures the dining program including meal service and nutrition clinical care is in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and is provided with a hospitality focus
- Provides dining service training for functions performed by dining and catering staff and all staff supporting dining programs
