This job opportunity is with a franchisee of Taco Bell, an independent business owner operating under the well-known Taco Bell brand. The franchisee is not Taco Bell Corporation or any of its affiliates, and if hired, the franchisee will be your sole employer. Franchise operations vary and the franchisee independently sets their own wage and benefit programs, which can differ widely between locations. As a member of this franchise team, you will play a crucial role in helping maintain the high standards associated with the Taco Bell brand by ensuring quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality across all daily functions.
The position focuses on managing the orderly and efficient functioning of the assigned restaurant. This involves strict adherence to key principles such as quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality, which are collectively referred to as CHAMPS, as well as compliance with the Taco Bell LAST system. The role demands a thorough understanding of restaurant management coupled with actual operational experience in food service. As a leader within the restaurant, you will be responsible for creating a positive and cooperative environment among employees and customers, enforcing safety policies and procedures, and maintaining consistent customer satisfaction levels. This position operates under general supervision but requires strong decision-making capabilities relating to all aspects of restaurant management, including staffing, training, inventory, budget assistance, and employee performance management.
Working conditions in this position may include dealing with high noise levels and extreme temperatures within the restaurant environment. Candidates are expected to handle these conditions professionally and remain calm and efficient during high-stress periods. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that customers receive the highest quality food prepared promptly and that the restaurant operates smoothly from kitchen processes to the customer service floor. This job normally requires one to two years of experience to gain sufficient knowledge and proficiency in its responsibilities.

Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Must have comprehensive understanding of all aspects of restaurant management and prior food service experience
- Must possess a valid driver license
- Must have access to a vehicle to drive periodically on company business
- Must have current liability insurance in your name
- Must have a home or cellular telephone or obtain one within three weeks of starting the position
- Requires good interpersonal communication skills to direct employees and work with customers
- Must be able to pay attention to detail, cope with pressure and remain calm when stressful situations arise

- Must be able to pay attention to detail, cope with pressure and remain calm when stressful situations arise

Job Duties
- To ensure the orderly and efficient functioning of assigned restaurant by assuring adherence to the philosophy of quality, service, cleanliness and hospitality (CHAMPS) and the Taco Bell (LAST) system
- Ensure customer satisfaction

- Create and maintain a positive and cooperative atmosphere among employees and customers
- Enforces all safety rules, policies, and procedures

- Position requires continuous customer and employee contacts
- Decision Making Responsibilities: Manages all aspects of restaurant operations
- hires, counsels and trains employees

- Working Conditions: Work area temperature may be extreme and noise level may be high at times
- Assists with budget decisions and implementation
- Ensures adequate staffing within the restaurant
- Follows specified procedures for inventory control
- Provides employee training, emphasizing CHAMPS and the Taco Bell LAST system
- Performs employee performance reviews and counseling
- Works as a team member to assure constant and consistent customer satisfaction through CHAMPS
- Quickly prepares customers' orders according to specifications and with the highest possible quality
- Prioritizes work load, always serving customers first, then maintaining dining room, and then maintaining work area
- Operates all kitchen equipment
- Acknowledges and speaks to customers when possible in a friendly and courteous manner
- Reports any needed equipment and/or facilities repair to the Maintenance Department
